[11:31 PM]

i hate to say this but tonight was the best night i have ever had, even better than prom night. prom night made me look at the past and rekindle the memories i had as a riversidian. but tonight i was given the chance to have a scope at what and how my future life gonna be like. for tonight was the amazing fashion fiesta running for its third time this year. which was also my very first fashion show i attended live right before my eyes. gosh was it a great experience! i was smiling broadly throughout the show as my eyes feasted on the wonderful wonderful designs our own local youths came up with. i was having such a great time tonight. i was looking forward to this event sooo much that i couldnt make myself wear something from my own cupboard! thank God sara and saidah came to the rescue yesterday as they gave me a shopping treat as my very belated birthday present. haha. thank you guys. i was cracking my head on what to wear for this special night but gave it a rest and went on to get this simple brown tee. well at least it's something new! oh and taufik came to the rescue too! yes taufik batisah! he inspired me to dress up like him =) like the way he often dressed up for his performances... so i grabbed my prom blazer along =P

now forget about what i wore... lets talk about what the models wore! omg. i have to say that again. omg. omg. omg. i was sooo shocked to hear that the designers for tonight's show are much much younger than i had expected! most of them are like prolly my age or so. i was extremely jealous of them. for God's sake where the hell did they find the avenue to pursue such a dream?! i want to be like them! i want to be part of them! fashion designing is my passion and it wont die out for however long i may live. God... but whatever it is, im actually really proud of them. their designs are extremely gorgeous u wont expect they were done by them. so there were the gothic designs, freestyle fusion, casual wear and evening wear. the kids, or should i say young designers, did the freestyle fusion. those of a teeny bit older than me did the casual wear. and this very talented man prolly in his early twenties designed the evening wear costumes all by himself. how incredible. i forgot who did the gothic costumes... but i was totally in awe by the designs i saw live then. the casual wear section basically showcased trendy casual clothes of the upcoming age, like jeans with patches of different fabrics at different areas and tops that you wont prolly find in heeren or fareast. the freestyle fusion section allowed the designers to blow new life into our traditional clothes, mainly batik and sari, by modifying them and using their fabrics to create new clothes and style. it was very inspiring i must say. but what truly blew me off was the the evening wear section. it took only one man to design gorgeous costumes that you wont ever see your fellow friends wear to prom. i soon realise that his trick is to not concentrate so much on the design but more on the kind of fabric you use for your design. words cant describe how beautiful the fabrics are. they practically make me see those dresses riversidians wore to prom were nothing compared to them. hehee... =P

lucky bastards those models are. and they were new too! for most of them this is their first time doing runway walks in front of live audience. hmm... maybe kim's one of those who were new. or is it kym? that kids central girl. shrug. they were chosen out of the many to join this interesting modelling course. or so we were told. and gosh i dont exactly know who or what organised it. they prolly got spotted just like how iswan did. lucky people. but kim... i dunno lah... yeah she's kinda pretty but then... i dont think her face suits the modelling industry. what would they normally say? not high fashion enough? yeah... she's like this bubbly girl next door who always likes to flaunt her teeth when she smiles. whatever the case is, i sure had lotsa fun tonight. thanks yana for accompanying me! sara, saidah, arman... you guys missed out on a lot of fun and im serious! hahaa... gotta make you guys regret not coming along =P oh and at the end of the show, we did this survey, and i was sooo hyper and eager that i asked the usher questions on how he made it there as part of the organising committee and left my email address and handphone no. so they can contact me about upcoming fashion shows or call me to be part of the organising committee too. God forbids me to say no if i ever were to be called! oh and that usher guy who gave me the survey... he turned out to be this student of this neighbourhood secondary school whose teacher is one of the organisers. and he's prolly only 15! if only riverside can have such a teacher... like yana said riverside tak abes abes science and maths. which is very true. get a life riverside. i cant believe i said that. shrug. alright sooo there goes the night of true awe, satisfaction and neverending envy... i pray to Allah... may i be part of them come next year's show... if that's not too much to ask for... and if i do, i would be the happiest man in the world. like totally. kay time to upload those glitzy pictures i took. so check out for them in my album. you wouldnt want to miss them beauties. sooo when that's done, time to call it a night and get my beauty sleep =P goodnight!
