so long MI! hello SA! oh just in case for those who don't know, that's st andrews jc. and i'm so proud to be able to make it! i'm not gonna act modest about it because this is what i want and i get what i want so why bother being modest?! i gotta give myself credits for it! haha! okay okay i might piss people reading this. bleargh. but i thank God loads for it. it's too unbelievable.

anyhow ooooooo! this place rawkz! the first day here was totally different from the first day in MI. for one, i know not a single soul in SA. so the morning there i felt sorta lost and outta place. but looking on the brighter side of it, since no one knows me, i can start life afresh! forget about the assholes i met in secondary school. be a new me and enlarge my circle of friends. talking about making friends, i spoke to total strangers today. like early in the morning (i was late for school by the way heh), i was having a hard time figuring out my orientation group, and there was this malay girl, nurul, standing beside me searching for her name as well. since i was in need of mental direction (whatever that is), i started talking to her, asking if she was here during the first 3 months. as it turned out, she wasn't. so that was quite a relieve for me for i know i'm not the only one lost. and then we just hit it off and spent the whole day together. like, she's new there, she's the only malay student i found, she's the only one from her school kentridge, she's not a minah thank God, and she's in arts too. so many things in common i realise we desperately need each other's company. then during break, we were joined by 3 more strangers. 2 guys and a girl. andy, derrick and shalene (i dunno how you spell it). they just sat on our bench on the opposite side facing us, and we all started talking. that was so strange! how much friendlier can these people be! gosh... oh well the arts students... we aren't as dorky as the science people... LOL! kidding kidding... but cummon... you guys hafta agree with me. hehe. no offence!

i thought the first day went pretty cool. but orientation hasn't started yet. the seniors are having exams so orientation will only begin next wednesday or something. funny... like usually the first people you meet are those from your og. but this time round, they aren't. oh the journey to school! one half hour bus ride all the way from woodlands to school... gosh! i woke up at four three quarter, left home at six, and was still late for school. i'm not gonna take the morning bus to school anymore. or i will be late for school everyday. SA bell rings at 7.25! MI bell rings at 7.40. argh! hahaa... oh well... can survive one lah... lol... okay so tomorrow, gotta rush to the LT and grab a seat for the trial lectures. oh wait, i'm not even sure if they are in the same LT. really really hope yes. NOT gonna endure sitting on the floor anymore. gotta ciao! night!
