anyway did i tell you about this french dude that added me on msn? it's so damn funny lah. he wanted to add a friend of his on msn. apparently his friend's email add is almost similar to mine (i wonder...). so he added me by mistaken. he's been in my msn for quite some time but we had never chatted before. until last night.

me: francais?
french dude: oui
me: je anglais
and the direct translation of the above is...
french dude: hello

GOD! that was me trying to speak french with a french. how dumb. trying to act smart lah. i thought i could put to use what i learnt 4 years ago. should have known better. i mean... "je anglais"??!!! firstly, that is grammatically wrong. both in french and in english. and secondly, since when am i an english?! i had meant to say "i speak english" but i forgot what SPEAK in french is so i dropped that word and in doing so, changed the whole meaning. it should have been "je parle anglais", not "je anglais". that is all i am good at, acting smart. haha! but i really miss learning french. the language is so beautiful, but damn difficult and confusing. and i miss the people i met there. friends for like what, 6 months? and i quit just like that, without prior notice to anyone in class. like the way i ran away from MI. i'm like a born quitter. i quit french class i quit madrasah i quit school in the first three months... i have to stop giving up so easily man. i MUST stay in SA till graduation day. unless if i don't get promoted next year...
anyway we got this box of chocolates from australia called PODS. i've never seen it before. i don't think they have it here. they are quite nice, different from the typical chocolates that we have in singapore. but what i like most about it is the stuff that they printed on the box. i think it's damn cute lah.
