like what the heck is the question talking about?! i was clueless i didn't know what to write AT ALL. international history paper is so screwed. i'm so screwed. no matter what you still gotta answer the question right so i did just that. but i didn't know what i was writing about. it was bullcrap all the way. i mentioned the containment policy of the US, the misperceptions of USSR's aims and motives, and the challenge of credibility. i can bet with all my heart and veins and blood and brain all of that have nothing to do with the question at all. because when we were done with the paper, i was told it was about the Marshall Plan, and it finally make sense to me. why must i be so dumb? why can't i ever be smarter than anyone? this is so annoying lah. urgh screw it.
oh by the way, i have never came across any William Appleman William before today. but i have heard of Willy from Free Willy.
but anywayyy... southeast asian history question was doable. my explanations were sorta screwed i felt like i was telling stories but at least i knew i was on the right track. i presented Malaya, Burma, Vietnam and Siam as my case studies, Siam being the exception for the question. so it was agreeable to large extent. those 4 countries just came to me i couldn't think of any other countries. i dunno much about the Dutch East Indies. bleargh can't be bothered anymore. i'm just so glad History is OVER.
and now i'm dreading Econs.
but even that i can't be bothered much. i am so in the celebration mood already. dance gonna resume this saturday! can't wait for exams to be OVER so i can chill and not think about studies for once. but there's PW goddammit. have i ever mentioned to you how much i hate PW? and have i ever mentioned to you how furious i was when i found out this is the last year they're gonna have PW? we students knew from the beginning PW served pratically no purpose at all, but would they listen? NO! next year onwards JC students are gonna be so lucky. there will no longer be arts and science faculties. everyone will do both arts and science. yeah it sounds so secondary school but it's for the good of the students lah. now we arts students are gonna be on the losing end. because the future JC students will be equipped with knowledge in both fields. in other words their options will be wider and universities would prefer them to us, especially we guys since we gotta compete with them for entrance to university. we got NS know. by the time we are done with NS the next year batch of JC girls would be done with their As as well. earlier in fact. life is never fair. never.
but whatever. i don't intend to stay here anyway. i just can't wait to get out of the hussle and bussle of life in Singapore. move to somewhere peaceful, a place where there are more pros than cons in doing whatever i want... ahhh yess DESIGNING! that is so HOT. but well, some dreams are just meant to be dreams...
not giving up though! :) hahaa... hmm our paper ended early today, 9.30am. so we went to eat at far east. yes the usual place haha! ever since i came to this school i have been going there to eat quite frequently. cos we are so near to town and there's a direct bus service to town you just can't resist the temptation know. oh can't beat CJC of course. they are AFFILIATED to town. lol. the mushroom sauce chicken noodle wasn't as good as it used to be but it was okay. and the uncle was so nice to us. we were the first there so he gave us free wanton. and oh he gave me 20 cents discount because he got me the wrong drink. and he said i'm handsome.
HAHAHAHAHAHA! i'm like one of his frequents lah... and NO there's nothing GAY about that. for God's sakes he's old, he has a wife and he's just doing it out of gratitude... DOTS.
but ata and nas were so jealous that the uncle complimented me and not them. they just won't accept the fact that i'm HOT. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
we took neoprints. my first after an extremely long hiatus. could be my first for this year...
