every saturday is our family day as both my parents don't work on saturday. it is also our try-new-recipe-for-dinner day. it is the only day in the week that we can sit down and have dinner as a family. that is why i always try to make it possible by not going out on this day. but it's just so weird to restrict myself from going out on saturday. oh well. so anyway, today, we had fried balls of mashed potatoes stuffed with meat and onion served in a bowl of dark red soup of God-knows what heh. nah it's not chilli. can you imagine eating a bowl of chilli soup?! God... so my parents cooked while i, well, slept through the whole afternoon, woke up just in time for dinner :) heh. but anyhow, i love potatoes. do you know how much i love potatoes? i love potatoes. sinful carbs argh! haha... but it's just so gooood babeh...

and one more thing i love is my room. the bright green and yellow walls, my comfy bed with a dozen pillows covered in red bedsheet... my room is so small everything is so cramped and that is why i like it sooo much! it's like my own personal conner where i can do whatever i want. well that's what a room is supposed to be anyway right haha. it's so small 2 would be a crowd. it's so contradicting to the huge amount of space outside my room. sometimes i wonder why did they build the house in such a way where everywhere else is spacious except for my room. haha but it serves me well and i like it the way it is. even my sis begs for a switch! nope nah-ah! never will happen! hehehe.

it's so hard to study lately. not like it used to be any easier actually. but now added with all the anxiety and nervousness, it's just impossible to settle down and get as much things into the head. promos in a week ooh boy. but GP is next week. and i'm honestly not prepared. look i slept throughout the day today and yet i'm sitting here typing all this shit right now instead of making up for the lost time. genius. nah actually i'm reading my Shakespeare, the great Moor Othello. i'm kinda confused with the storyline as there are holes here and there thanks to my constant absence from school so i'm reading it right from Scene 1. reading it again made me realised that Othello speaks of a truly beautiful tongue. and this is just so ironic as he's not a local there as compared to all the other characters. well actually i didn't find out about this just recently in fact Mrs Tan always reminds us about the language presentation and all but i've never seen it for myself till now. just goes to show how much i have been paying attention to the details... ah then i'm gonna read my latest edition of Newsweek as the feature article is about entertainment. i can definitely use some of the content for my GP essay if the media question is related heh.

yesterday i was with Jael, the twin sister i never had (who else would agree with me that talking on the phone is just a waste of time and love Arrested Development as much as i do and even knew the existence of it? hahah), at Serene Mac making the vain effort to study. well guess what we encountered? a gay couple sorta PDAing while still in school uniform. OMG. okay it wasn't too bad cos they weren't like touching each other everywhere and kissing each other showing intimacy but it kinda attracted our (my) attention and it was rather disturbing. you know with the many school students there i think it's just not appropriate to be affectionate in public given their wayward sexuality if i may put it (no offence to any gays reading this). it kinda freaked us out. but i dunno if it actually turned Jae on cos she started reminding herself that Keane is hot. can you imagine the torment i was going through?! hahahaha.

i think it's just right to be getting back to my books now. they're already missing me AWHH. they dunno however that i don't feel the same towards them hush!
