i just got another one of DZUL RABUL JALIL's albums! this one is called KARMA.
i'm a happy camper now! i LOVE his songs cos they are so suitable for dances, so traditional yet so modern. if you know what i mean...
woot! i hate traditional dances. they are BORING. but i think it is super super cool when you contemporarise traditional dances. like Reminiscing The Moon by Boi Sakti.
Dzul's pretty traditional himself but it's not like malay sorta traditional it slants more towards the javanese kinda traditional. malay dance is boring. indonesian dance is not! hahahaha...
but Dzul's songs are pretty slow. sigh. editing time!
so now, should i choreograph for next year's Rapture? i'm afraid i might not be able to juggle both dance and studies well.
and my dance teacher wants me to learn malay dance. i would rather learn bhangra.
