[11:51 AM]

a month ago, i was hunting high and low for CIP opportunities for the dance society. it wasn't exactly a pleasurable experience if i must say. many organisations chose not to entertain me just because i'm a student. i sent out emails after emails asking to do volunteery work yet only a few replied. okay well only 3 replied. one was not able to give us the opportunity due to certain reason. another organisation (not mentioning who they are) replied weeks after i emailed them. by then a CIP at TTSH was already confirmed. so i had to turn it down. and guess what they said.

"It is disappointing to our patrons to know that your group has already decided on another alternative."

excuse me? it is not my fault that i had to turn them down. they could have replied me earlier couldnt they. in fact i emailed them first before i emailed TTSH. they made it sound like i'm in the wrong here those people are disappointed just because we couldn't perform for them. we would if we have all the time in the world. do they have any idea how busy dancers are? good thing i understood how busy they are that i didn't really mind their late reply.

i got really fired up i tell you.

but i beamed upon opening the next email from TTSH.

"Your school should be proud to have a student like you."

hah. well if only they knew...
