[6:25 PM]

SAJC@SAV had an official opening ceremony this morning. however, in my opinion, it was a rather disappointing event. to begin with, we don't even know the man in purple robe who gave us the long speech that would have been pleasant and undeniably touching if the weather had been a little kinder.
i don't wanna be criticising my school. i love my school. but SAJC now is no longer like the SAJC then. i wonder if it's merely due to the new environment. yeah that should be it; the new environment. it needs some getting used to. the move has successfully taken away a portion of our hearts and fond memories back in Malan Road.

tis not the time to be emo!

but things will never be the same again. we'll have to look for new favourite corners, new favourite toilet, new favourite shower cubicle... basically everything will be new.
talking about favourite toilet, i don't think we'll be able to find one. cos there are too many toilets to choose from! almost one at every corner WOW. but i've not yet found one with shower heads. there's PE on the first day of school and we need to bathe!

oh yes we've already gotten our timetable for the new school term. no reason for us to not have our assignments ready by then :(
to those who weren't there just now and had not received the new timetable, here's what we have on Tuesday, the first day of school:
Lit tutorial, PE, GP tutorial, History tutorial and History lecture
we're assuming the Lit tutorial to be Mr Smith's and History, Mr Yoong's. correct me if i'm wrong yeah.

and by special request from Liz, here are the assignments once again:

# ECONS
1) (DRQ) TYS pg. 340, Banks have to merge to reap EOS.
2) (Essay) TYS November 2004 Paper 3 qn. (b)
3) read the notes given
(we'll be going through the DRQ during the fist tutorial but an outline of the essay needs to be handed in)

# HISTORY
1) The Truman Doctrine and the Marshall Plan represented a deep rooted commitment to its ally. How reflective is this statement of the US foreign policy in Europe from the period 1945 to 1950? (origins of cold war)

2) The Cold War extended to the Third world only because a stalemate was experienced in Europe. Discuss. (globalisation of cold war)

3) The tutorial question on the last page of the last lecture notes.

it's not fun to be suffering from digestive problems. (when has suffering ever been fun anyway?) i have to take medication before food and be wise with the choice and quantity. but i keep forgetting to take my medicine and that's when you'll see me with a huge tummy. and that's also when i'll feel like i'm carrying a baby. we've not even come to the painful ordeals i have been facing since i first had it when i was fourteen.

maybe i won't live for long. hahaha... which thus means i have to put a stop to all the sinful pleasures and start to repent hahahaha... yeah no more clubbing and partying all night long... goodbye world. i'll see you in the afterlife.

hahah okay jokes aside. my modem's been such a bitch. i always have difficulty connecting to the internet. i couldn't connect the whole of last night that i ended up cleaning my room! how tragic.
so i folded my robe and tucked it in nicely into the box. i cleared up my shoes that were scattered all over the place. i put my clothes back into my wardrobe. i cleared my table. everything is now so tidy it doesn't feel me anymore. oh everything except the bed. it will always remain as such, messy and distorted, the way i like it :)

oh i almost forgot. the dancers attended Andrea's birthday party at Aloha Loyang last night and the living room was turned into a dance floor and everyone started dancing like it was a club.
remind me to recall whatever steps we've learnt beforehand the next time we attend her family party. they like to see us perform. and i couldn't remember a single thing :P

oh Liz, you and Hanis wanted me to scan and post something up here. what was it?
