[9:21 PM]

i'd wanted to upload the 2 dance videos from
the CNY performance to youtube.com but
that website tried to be funny. the steps and the song
for the Malay dance couldn't coordinate and Crave's taking
forever to upload. sigh.

i give up. ask me for the video personally if you want
it okay?

the photos are up though :)
go to the the navigation on the left and look for
pictures > CNY 06

i forgot to mention this in the previous entry.
i am so proud of all the MCS members who
participated in the dance. it might have been
the first ever dance performance for most of you but
you guys put in the effort to learn something not of your
forte and this i find really amazing.

it was my first time choreographing a traditional dance
so we were all at the same starting point.
thanks for the effort and interest
and thanks to Eqa for helping me out with the choreography :)

guess what? i finally received a letter from MINDEF
summoning me for my NS. yes i mean finally.

i'm not exactly looking forward to NS
in fact sometimes i hoped for a permanent
physical injury that would excuse me
from the service but it did scare me to know that most
of my friends have already gotten their deferment
confirmed months before.

i don't want to have to
end up paying fines and facing a jail sentence
as a result of not doing my duty which would not have
been my fault if i had not received a letter from MINDEF.

i can't believe that pink letter actually got
me excited.

the Mosaic Festival is baacckkkk!
but i'm more interested in the upcoming West Side Story,
a phenomenal musical shwoing at the Esplanade
from 7 April onwards. can't wait can't wait!
but the tickets are rather expensive.
the cheapest costs $38 and for that you'll be sitting
on the balconies. i hate the balconies.
u can't see nuts!

i like Circle 2 seats but they cost $103
for a fairly reasonable view :(

there's an awesome dance performance by Taiwan's
Cloud Gate Dance Theatre showing at the Esplanade
next week and it's called Cursive.

Cursive is a "visually stunning dance
interpretation of Chinese calligraphy that erupts
in rich variations, from slow controlled motions to
martial-arts-like explosions."

"Dancing and calligraphy merged here
into a single art of motion... Cursive affirmed the glory
of beauty itself." - The New York Times.

i've seen the trailer and yes oh yes it does seem
beautiful! it's a must watch! except most of
the good seats are already taken :(
i am very particular about seating arrangements
i would rather pay more for a good view than
getting to see almost NOTHING.

our class rep "Baodai" wanted me to
list down the assignments due next week.
but i have yet to get everything in order so i'm sorry
i can't do that. yet.
all i know we have a GP essay that was supposedly
due 2 days ago.

i'll come back here with the rest of the assignments.
