[8:38 PM]
the instructor that did three perfect pirouettes right before my eyes
was ill. i am in dire need of some calisthenic routines for this poor shagged
body of mine as i lack the discipline to work it out on my own. or rather,
the time. yes that's it. the time factor.
will assignments ever cease!
Riangs mentioned about the technique class at NUS Dance Ensemble
and i was initially delighted by the fact that it's opened to everyone.
that is till i realised it's not for the faint hearted, almost literally.
thanks Amanda for sharing it on your blog. or i would have died of
sheer embarrassment rather than physical agony attending the class.
i have been rather poetic of late. well that's basically
the result of having boring teachers and lecturers; the only
way to forfend myself from succumbing to the hypnotic and pleasurising
nature of sleep and lala-land is by getting the brain juices to flow
and the best of way to do that is not by reading the lecture notes
but by thinking of the different ways words can be arranged
to form an ambiguous expression that would otherwise be
as humdrum as the lecturer.
so my lecture notes are filled with verses after verses
of, well, lyrical words, instead of important points
that i should note.
at least it's better than to fall asleep and
not gaining anything at the end of it!
oh and i think sourplums are essential too in helping you ward off
those sleepy aurae that shoot at you like a cupid with a bow and arrow.
ah cupid. love is in the aiirrrrrr... *beams*

i must be nuts to be wearing 3 layers for the CNY hiphop item.
but at least they are not too difficult as compared to the Malay dance
costume which i'll be changing into after the first round of the concert.
i don't know how to tie the samping, i need help with the folding of
the tanjak, and it's warm and itchy.
but if i was able to change
into Sway in less than 3 mins, this shouldn't be a problem.
unless if the wings are crowded and Malay dance and
hiphop are back to back. which shouldn't be case.
hopefully.
you my friend, you surprised me, almost everytime.
