yet again. and it's Saturday! i would have
loved to go out and catch a movie or meet up
with friends or do anything except that it's
not the beginning of the week.
translation: no moolah.
my effort in saving money seems futile.
but the motto is "nothing is impossible"
or so i believe :)
i just discovered two holes in my sneakers.
the more reason to get a new pair of shoes!
but i know my parents won't give in so
easily. they think i have tons of
shoes and hence don't need a new one.
the days of having your parents pay
for all your expenses are long long gone.
and it doesn't help when you don't earn your own
money. shopping with parents is annoying.
because they will give you a million and one reasons
for not wanting to buy you the stuff you want when
the only reason is because they think
it's not worth their money.
fair enough it's hard when you
have to settle bills and feed the family;
money means a lot. but that's the exact reason
why i should work. but asking my dad that
would just mean another long lecture
from him of the pros and cons of teenagers
my age having lots of money in their hands.
teenagers?! i can honestly say i don't belong
in that group anymore.
this is not going anywhere.
i'm getting myself even more annoyed.
ooh boy time is running out.
why am i always busy?
but anyways, i just realised i've not
said anything about the V-day that just passed.
JC brings a whole new meaning to Feb 14.
Feb 14 this year was the first time i survived on
chocolates and more chocolates.
Choc cake from Coffee Bean, choc bars,
Rochers, heart shaped chocs, choc cookies,
more cookies, plus lots and lots of brownies.
i like Hanis's/Mab's/Jill's brownies the best!
and i like Corinne's creativity (heh)
and the Tyramail from a certain someone who
i assume do not wish to be named is
really sweet and interesting. i never knew
Tyra gives out shoelaces as well haha.
and i appreciate that little silver ring
from Atalia which she gave me as a
token of our friendship.
i LOVE all of my friends.
and sorry for not giving anything in return hehe.
NEXT YEAR! if we still see each other that is.
