didn't get a placing i think the effort and the
accomplishment of coming up with a whole new item
in a matter of just one week is definitely to be
proud of. that sounds nicer than just saying "at least
we made it to the finals" though i have to say it
was definitely some competition what with the
awesome and skillful teams present.
M.S.A.F.T.K.B (is that right?), the winner of the
Anti-smoking dance competition is also this year's
Danceworks champion for the open category. they are okay
i guess though i would rather Lil' White Riding Hood win.
there's some discontentment over this year's competition
especially over the winners but i shall not voice it
out here or i might just as well find myself getting
driven over, raped or simply beaten up one day.
whatever it is, i think Saintsation did a marvelous job :)
and Kuijien is hot beyond hot-ness. heh.
i'd wanted to take a photo with host Kuijien and Carrie
(especially the former) but didn't get the chance to despite
my ever-so-privileged backstage pass. oh well.

okay i'm not sure how and i can't figure out why but i came
upon a realisation that our Cultural Centre's stage makes us
look horrible when we dance. i'm not trying to defend ourselves
blaming it on the stage instead of our techniques for being
messy when we dance but i believe it's true.
i noticed some significant differences when our dancers
danced on UCC's stage yesterday as compared to our own stage.
they appeared cleaner and nicer. and i don't think the
eyes were playing tricks on me.

anyway i broke a personal record today by sleeping
for more than 18 hours straight, waking up only to eat.
pig-o.
and just for the record, i did badly for BT1,
almost as bad as promos. so much for the effort and
hardwork. i'm tired of feeling demoralised and disappointed.
it seems like there's nothing i can do to get those
grades. i don't feel like giving a damn anymore
but to merely continue for the sake of continuing.
i'm beyond the halfway mark so there's no point backing
out now. all i would like to ask for is the courage
and stamina to try to give my best at this,
in my opinion, wretched education system.
bring it on? bring it on.
