that is Saidah and in her hands is the extremely belated
birthday present (her birthday was on the 11th of
Feb) from us KIMAMAS; a perfume called Moon Dance
by a shop that specialises in mixing and
personalising perfumes according to your own
preference. like how cool is that! and from the trip
to that shop we also learnt a little bit of how perfumes
are made and got free samples of this base note called
White Amber that smells differently on different people.
thanks to Arman for introducing to us that wonderful place.
i must bring all my friends to that shop one day!
anyway so yes the KIMAMAS met up today (like finally)
we are such busy people that we don't even have time to go
out together so often anymore. and Saidah had to wait for
sooo long for her birthday present as a result of that hahah.
but it's worth the wait i guess! look what we got her!
a (supposedly) personalised perfume! (she liked the perfume
as it is and prefered no mixing) from this pretty shop in
Little India. and in case you are wondering, no they don't sell
fragrances that smell of jasmines and Mustafa just because
it's in Little India. in fact, the shopkeeper's English accent
has no hint of colloquial Indian at all.
so then we headed down to town for lunch at our favourite
Cahaya restaurant at Far East where i had my long-time-no-eat
favourite wanton noodle and caught The Producers after that.
if you love broadway shows and musicals you will love this new
rendition of the show that was first produced back in 1968.
sometimes the simplest plot is the best and you don't
always need to depend on technology to produce a marvelous movie
that screams "standing ovation is necessary" because one that has
people singing and dancing and tapping would do an even better job.
i'm adding that to my list of favourite movies :)
next up: that dance movie, i forgot the title haha...
i had a great time spending the day with my pretty kimamas
and please make sure our next outing is not one year later!
