[10:06 PM]
we are never satisfied with whatever God has given us and we are forever itching to lay our hands on things that we think He has unfairly granted others with. but really, i'm quite tired of being a jack of all trades but master of none. perhaps i don't even qualify as a jack of all trades. who says we want to be smart, good-looking and successful? we want to be the smartest, the best-looking and the most phenomenal being the world has ever seen. admit it, we all do. we are always hoping for whoever who's better than us to crumble and die a painful death, paving the way for you to shine instead. what an ugly world we're living in. but i don't care. because it has always been my aim to be good if not the best in whatever i do. it might not show but who knows me better than myself. but of course God is fair. you can't have everything to go your way. while i may have the determination to succeed, i lack the strength and courage to make it work (in other words, i'm lazy). and this everyone knows it. it's that apparent eh.
i'm still living life rather aimlessly and i have long realised the mistake i made in choosing the course i chose. but hey, life is full of surprises (oh so cliche) and you have to fall at least once in order to see the full picture. it's on this journey that i realised certain hidden capabilities and the road to discovery is still being taken. God is fair. period.
