[7:02 AM]
The site that I am about to introduce all of you to belongs to a traveller who I assume is an Italian. He came to Singapore and took photos of our country. In his photojournal he posted the photos that he took and wrote captions underneath each of them, describing the details in the photo and some background info related to it. The things that he wrote are rather inaccurate and his ignorance of the real facts to us would of course appear very humourous. But after awhile, you'll begin to realise that somehow instead of having us laughing at him, he is probably in actual fact, laughing at us. Yes ladies and gentlemen, he's insulting us. And while I do admit that I am one of the most unpatriotic citizens of this country, I still can't help but feel a great sense of annoyance for his deliberate effort in trying to coat his insults with sheer ignorance. There's no evidence to clearly prove this but that was how I felt reading his comments (tell me you guys do too).
>> he who increased my level of patriotism
>> she who finds it really funny
I have a strong urge to write him a hatemail grr...

On to something totally unrelated, I figured that I have been a stalker all this while without realising it (and perhaps all of you are too). I have been an avid reader of a particular man's blog yet I can't seem to find anything good enough to reason why. He is a local in his twenties, Chinese, doctor. For some reason I always read his entries and perhaps you can say addicted to them. But there's nothing particularly interesting about his entries, or even him as an individual. He talks about food, work, gym, friends, clubs and... that's about it. Big deal; the same old thing that everyone writes about as well.
Perhaps it is the triumphant feeling that you get being able to know a person inside out without even knowing him or her in person. And the best thing is they aren't even aware of your snooping, unless if they have some kind of program attached that enables them to know who their readers are (people like me won't bother).
You have to admit learning so much details about a stanger definitely makes you feel kind of privileged, probably the same reason why hackers do what they do. It's the intrusion into someone's private life, going against law and ethics (you think?) that is probably giving me that mild yet necessary adrenaline rush.
And I guess he does inspire me a little; big job, big money, amazing friends that he can boast, and to top it all, single and always clubbing. Hahaha, what a life.
