New layout hah! White, clean, pastel. And may I also add slightly effeminate. Don't you think? Should have chosen more blues and greens. But I'm quite happy with this fresh breath of change. The darkness was getting to me. Pun intended. I'm happy with it yet I'm disturbed by the girlyness of it :/ we'll see how long I can stand it. But this must have been one of the easiest I have ever come up with. It was a no brainer! Simplicity at its best. Image legally stolen from photodecadent months back.

Prelims OVER!!! You have not a single clue how mentally, physically and spiritually draining the prelims had been. I could feel humour, joy and bliss being sapped out of me slowly but effectively over the course of the longest 3 weeks I ever had which ended with a BLAST last Friday, 5.29pm, the last paper being International History. Once my script was in I could feel all my senses coming back to me and was on the verge of screaming and running hysterically as a form of respect for the newfound freedom. I wasn't thinking how i'd faired the only thing on my mind was how I am going to celebrate this joyous occassion - and all planned with not a single free day let to waste! But of course the results will be back to haunt us all.

Boy, what a marathon it'd been. And to think the actual A's would last one whole month? I'll need jars and bottles of honey and chicken essence then because I'll be gulping them down like water.

But for now I don't think I'm ready to return to the notes. They have all been filed back neatly to where they belong and the only things on the table right now are the IKEA'07 magazine, a psychological thriller I started reading this week called Missing Pieces, the programme booklet from NUS Dance Ensemble's Next Wave and a heart-shaped chocolate candy. I MUST celebrate while I can because it won't last long. Soon we'll be back burying our faces into piles of notes and past years' practice papers, especially for people like me who have been consistently producing poor sets of grades for the past one half year :/

I went for NUS DE's Next Wave last night and PHWOAR! what a concert it was! It was simply stunning and I was so glad I was there to immerse myself in amazing beauty, style and grace, instead of staying at home and watching TV. I can't pick a favourite because all of them were splendid in their own ways but I would think the highlights of the night were Zaki's X-II, an extremely slutty hiphop, Zaini's Symphony in Excelsis, the usual posh and elegance of his choreography and style, and Dan Kwoh's Breath of Life which reminded me so well of Reminscing the Moon. Glen gave me a seat third row from the front together with Huey and Kelly and it was really nice to see and feel for yourself the emotions and expressions upclose. Looking back at our own concert at the Esplanade more than a month back, I think we are nowhere close to matching their standard. Wishing the juniors all the best for the coming SYF! (and when the hell are the Rapture'06 DVDs coming out!?)
