[12:37 AM]

Vicks, Lester, Jael and I all went over to Liz's house to, guess what? Watch Brokeback Mountain! Hahaha... I've been waiting so long and I thought I would never get to see that movie at all. To cut long story short, I find the movie short of amazing, far from what I had initially expected from all the gusto reviews and awards. It was touching, no doubt, but the script, or lack of it rather, didn't help send the message across as clearly as it could have. And it was soooo draggy we entertained ourselves with the much anticipated gay sex scenes (first time for most of us HAHA), arguing who's the passive and who's the active one in the relationship and going ga-ga over Anne Hathaway's boobs which someone exclaimed were humongous and requested for a replay of that scene (NOT me I swear). That and the scene where Heath Ledger strips naked and starts to, urm, wash his privy. Hmm. We (or maybe I) laughed more than we (I) should. Don't send me hatemails please :/ Hahaha I know fans would take my words as downright insulting but with a company like that you just can't help but joke and laugh instead of cry. Seriously. Oh come on I'm the least homophobic person you'll ever find on earth lah...

The initial plan to look at Dali's sculptures that have been placed all over town and city came to an end after the third sculpture because all of us got too tired and too lazy to roam and explore, with a cut-out map from a newspaper as the only guide. His scultures are nice but not easy to appreciate. I have to admit they were losing me bit by bit but Vicks was determined to look at all of them and went off all by herself while the rest of us went for lunch and chilled and photowhored at the surprisingly vacant Pastamania at Cine.

Here's the reason why I always disagree when it comes to gaming arcades: they are bloody addictive and 'fun' is suddenly a good enough excuse for you to let your money go! But a few rounds of pucker and daytona wasn't that bad I guess. No it was horrible because I came last for two consecutive rounds of daytona! How frustrating and embarrassing! Hahah...

So that's it - no more games, no more movies, no more shopping, no more sitting and talking for hours, because it's back to the inescapable reality now of more scoldings, more readings, more essays, more consultations, more latenights and certainly, even more disappoinment as we return to our mundane, monotonous life that will begin, unfortunately, with the getting back of our scripts. I'm scared.
