I'd like to wrap you up in a shimmery red wrapping paper so it'll reflect light wherever you go. That I'll do right after I get a box that fits you well so you can snug in very comfortably. I'll throw in my duvet and a couple of puffy pillows to remind you of me, and perhaps the teddy you've been trying to steal from me. All that will only happen once I'm done putting you in the shower and dress you up in your best clothes and comb your hair so neatly that you'll find not one strand out of place. I've spent the past few nights polishing your new shoes and I really hope you like the new shine. I could see my own reflection in it. Try it if you don't believe me. So into the box you'll go then. Santa has promised to keep the elves away and he will tie a nice green ribbon around it himself and give it sprinkles of his magic dust. Christmas will be here soon and I can't wait to see you.
